Description

Terry knee-high socks with a special design: they fit the leg well without constricting. Cotton yarn and a polyamide yarn with silver ions in its core have an antibacterial and antifungal effect, which is reinforced by the Sanitized® finish.

A small proportion of Lycra® throughout the fabric makes the knee-high socks particularly elastic. The three-layer terry protects sensitive areas of the foot, the fine, cool fabric on the instep provides good ventilation, and an elastic band around the midfoot keeps the sock in place. According to the manufacturer, the knee-high socks do not cause irritation or allergic skin changes; they are intended especially for active people with circulatory disorders of the legs.

The Sanitized® hygiene formula

Sanitized® is a Swiss process for giving textiles an antibacterial and antifungal finish. In the Silver models, the silver ions in the yarn add to this effect: bacteria and fungi find poor conditions on the fibre, and unpleasant odours do not develop in the first place.
