Description

DEOMED® Cotton Silver+ is a medical sock without compression and without seams. It is made of cotton yarn and a polyamide yarn with silver ions incorporated into its core.

The silver ions reduce the growth of microorganisms in the fabric and thus provide a long-lasting antibacterial and antifungal effect. The Sanitized® finish further enhances these properties. According to the manufacturer, the sock does not cause irritation or allergic skin changes.

A small proportion of elastane throughout the fabric makes it highly elastic, while the soft material and the seamless linking above the toes make it very comfortable to wear. The manufacturer developed the socks especially for people with diabetes and with circulatory problems in the legs.

The Sanitized® hygiene formula

Sanitized® is a Swiss process for giving textiles an antibacterial and antifungal finish. In the Silver models, the silver ions in the yarn add to this effect: bacteria and fungi find poor conditions on the fibre, and unpleasant odours do not develop in the first place.
